Troubleshooting
"Failed to reach cloud catalog"
The catalog of available apps is fetched live, so your CrabShack instance needs a working internet connection to browse it. If you see this message on the Integrations page:
- Confirm your CrabShack instance has internet access.
- Wait a moment and reload the page — this is usually temporary.
- Already-installed connections keep working even while the catalog is unreachable; this only affects browsing and installing new apps.
The sign-in popup never appears
Some apps connect via a browser popup. If clicking Connect does nothing:
- Check whether your browser blocked the popup (look for a blocked-popup icon in the address bar) and allow it for your CrabShack instance.
- Make sure you saved your connection credentials first — the Connect button stays disabled until you do.
An agent can't use a connection I just installed
- If it's an agent other than your main one, check that connection's box in that agent's Allowed MCPs settings — see Agent Allowlisting.
- Confirm the connection shows as Connected, not just installed — an app that's installed but not yet connected isn't usable by any agent.
A connection needs re-authenticating
Sign-ins can expire. On that app's detail page, use Reconnect to go through sign-in again — your other settings for that connection are kept.
Uninstalling a connection
Uninstalling stops the connection completely and removes its saved credentials — this can't be undone. Any agent using it will lose access immediately. If you just want to temporarily stop an agent from using a connection, remove it from that agent's Allowed MCPs instead of uninstalling it.
