Processes

What It Does

A process is a task you assign to an agent that it works through step by step — and, unlike a free-form chat request, you can require it to pause and wait for your sign-off before it takes an action that matters (sending something, making a change, spending money).

How It Works

Each step can be checkpointed, so a long-running process survives an interruption and resumes from where it left off rather than starting over.

Scenario

A business wants a customer-reply process where the agent drafts a response but never sends anything without a human glancing at it first. They create a process with a "draft reply" step marked as requiring approval. The agent prepares the reply and the process pauses; a team member reviews it from the Automations page and approves it before it goes out.
